When it comes to roofing projects on high-rise apartment buildings, usually our team encounters predictable challenges. With the Rosslyn Arms Apartments however, our team really had to utilize creative thinking to ensure this project was completed successfully.
Creating roofing structures and mechanisms that work isn’t always a one-team job. That’s why we have trusted partners that we work with regularly on projects where more expertise is needed. 890 Jane Street was a collaboration between Elite and MJH Services Inc. to ensure the successful installation of roof anchors for this high rise apartment building.
This building changed ownership in the past year and underwent an extreme makeover. The roof was leaking in multiple locations and this meant that the 30,000 square foot roof needed an upgrade. By leaving in place existing dry materials along with upgraded insulation and membrane, we successfully repaired this roof on time, and under budget.
With over 53,000 square feet, numerous parapet heights, and floating returns back onto the main roof, this project was a challenge! We’re thrilled with the beautiful end result. Scroll to see how we did it.
Partial roofing replacement for a heritage building in downtown Toronto. The goal for this project was to merge the existing roof with the repaired elements, while maintaining the historical aspects of the building structure.
