I am writing in appreciation of the excellent job that was done to replace over 35,000 square feet of roof at one of our private schools located in Thornhill, ON.
The crew was required to work with many hindrances throughout the roof replacement process. Time restraints were inevitable as the project needed to start and finish over the summer break while the building was unoccupied. Additional risk factors included extreme summer heat to contend with, and no advantage of starting early in the morning because of the building location in a residential neighborhood.
Despite the many challenges, Elite’s team of professionals worked very hard and were able to meet or exceed the expectations with respect to the planning, coordination, and execution of the work. We were extrememly pleased with the consideration given to the schedule and the quality of the finished product. The team was easy to work with and respectful to the privacy of the surrounding neighborhood. Overall, we would like to compliment the team at Elite Roofing for the quality of their workmanship and the first-class level of service that was provided.

We use Elite Roofing extensively and find them to be very responsive to our roofing needs and concerns, whether it be an emergency leak, walkthrough for inspections and preventive maintenance of our existing roofs, or a complete replacement, they are service-oriented and we can rely on them.
I find that all of their crews are great, they are conscientious, work clean and safe, especially at one of our residential buildings they had recently completed. We had to re-roof from an existing built-up roof to an inverted type roof 20 storeys high, in a confined area. It wasn’t easy but they were able to carry out the work like true professionals.

This project involved bringing together design professionals and speciality suppliers to develop and execute a complex and technically challenging program involving demolition and new construction with large structural spans while maintaining a fully functioning building. Your team was involved in every stage of design and construction.
Over the years we did a number of re-roofing projects with Elite and found their advice to be valuable. As an example when we had to replace the roof at 20 Trudelle Street in Scarborough, we had a serious problem with drainage because the roof was draining towards the outer edge of the building instead of to the roof drains. Elite recommended a careful placement of tapered roofing insulation in select locations and the addition of more roof drains to solve the problem. As it turned out, this solution worked extremely well. Also, their work crew was complimented by our site staff as being well organized. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Elite for service work and re-roofing.
I recently collaborated with Mr. Glowinsky and Elite Roofing on a 24-townhouse development project in downtown Toronto and I can honestly attest to the fact that it was one of the best experiences I’ve had with a roofing contractor.

We have been using Elite Roofing for almost 7 years now, and the service from their team has always been very responsive and effective. Quickly arriving to handle any water penetration issues has always been a strong point for Elite Roofing. They are quick to diagnose where the water is coming from and able to offer a resolution to stop it fast and minimize the damage to the various unit owners in the condo complex at 800 Petrolia Road. Our roof is an older EPDM loose laid ballasted system installation that should be replaced in the near future.
